My Favoriate Love Songs: Echoes of Heartfelt Connections
In the vast tapestry of music, certain songs weave through our lives, capturing moments of love, heartache, and profound emotional connections. These songs become love songs that resonate deeply within us, evoking memories and emotions. Here, I share a curated list of songs that are dear to my heart, all of which have played significant roles in my life.
Favorite Love Songs: Past and Present
One of my favorite love songs is “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. Though I don’t have a significant other right now, the melody and lyrics of this song often make me reflect on the person I love the most. Another favorite is “Snowman” by Sia, which serves as a reminder of my better half during the times when I am nostalgic.
I also hold a special place in my heart for The Cure's “Pictures of You” and Marilyn Manson's “Tourniquet.” These songs are deeply personal, as they represent my love and subsequent hatred for someone. “Tourniquet” in particular is a poignant reminder of heartbreak and the complexity of emotions I once felt but now look back on with a different perspective.
Other songs that make me think of the people I love are “Friends- V and Jiminn” and “Whalien 52.” These tracks remind me of the support of my sister and the kindness of my sister and Jimin from BTS, who are two people I hold very dear. Their music offers a unique understanding of my feelings, reminding me that I am not alone in my emotions.

Over the hills and far away, there was a time when music was more than just background noise. In 1997, I fell in love at 15, when a boy I adored played “Over the Hills and Far Away” on the acoustic guitar and sang it to me. To this day, I can recall the melody and lyrics as if it were yesterday. Who knows, perhaps he’ll see this post one day and remember the moment we shared.
I often cherish the songs that have accompanied my romances throughout the years. Each song is a memory, a connection, and a reflection of the love and heartache in my life. Music has the power to heal and connect us, and these songs have become a part of my emotional journey.
