Acoustically, the sound is thin, thin, and weedy, lacking in warmth and depth. Plugged into an amp, the sound is even worse, described as thin, tinny, and brittle. The inflexibility of the plastic back also causes the wooden top to crack, which impacts both the sound and the overall quality of the instrument.

It’s important to recognize that while some people may love these instruments, it’s equally valid to have a negative opinion.
