The Art of Collaboration: DOCUMENTING A LIVE PERFORMACE

Live Collaboration with Dave Nachmanoff

Together, I and Dave Nachmanoff, a talented guitarist who performs with legendary artist Al Stewart, shared a memorable house concert. In the video, you can see Mike Lindauer on bass (on the left), Dave Nachmanoff in the middle, and myself wearing a black and white shirt on the right. We were playing Thing Of Beauty, capturing the essence of live collaborative music.

While the video could have offered more, with a promising refrain left untold, we aim to deliver a holistic experience nonetheless. Any constructive criticism is welcome, and it doesn't hurt to acknowledge that we did take a slight misstep in the Dm portion. Enjoy whether you find it impressive or prefer to critique further.

Improvisation and Creative Freedom

Here, we delve into the world of improvisation. The video is a showcase of my talent in playing a generic backing track in Dm, highlighting the versatility and spontaneity of music. Despite potential criticism, the heart of live performance is expressed openly, complete with a minor miscalculation. Let us know what you think!

Sharing Covers and Raw Talent

In the spirit of sharing and learning, I have uploaded some raw covers of popular music pieces. While an accurate rendition isn't always within reach, these videos provide a glimpse into my guitar playing style and the interpretation of well-known songs. Enjoy these renditions of Meri Maa, Jay Jaykara (Bahubali 2), and Zara Si (Jannat).Check them out here.

For a different take on music, I have another video featuring the track Melodias Organicas as part of a CD project. The performance incorporates a variety of instruments, including a Cordoba Melodias organicas and small percussion elements. This piece showcases the fusion of traditional and contemporary guitar styles. Explore the video for a unique listening experience.

Each video not only highlights my guitar prowess but also provides an open forum for feedback and discussion. Whether it’s a collaborative performance, an exploration of improvisation, or a rendition of a well-loved song, these videos aim to inspire and entertain. Let’s continue this journey of guitar learning and sharing.
