A Heartfelt Coldplay Experience in Mumbai - A Fan's Perspective
Did anyone attend the Coldplay Mumbai concert? How was the experience? I watched it on TV, and the crowd seemed somewhat lacking in energy with too many people focused on their phones. Was the crowd actually engaged and full of energy?
The FACTS
Yes, I did attend the concert and I really enjoyed it. I was one of the 1000 lucky winners of a global Global Citizen festival contest, which provided me with two free tickets from BookMyShow. I remember receiving an email from them, and the news was so shocking that I was stood still.
Concert Highlights
The concert was great, and everyone was indeed lost in the music and united. The moment Harry Styles ran off the stage, threw his guitar up in the air, and jumped back onto it was magical. Unfortunately, he broke the guitar. Despite being far from the stage, the tension was still palpable, and the overall experience was thrilling.
Personal Foes and Bono's Talent
I also had the opportunity to attend a Coldplay concert in Bandra on 19th November 2016. My friend won the free tickets after answering some questions correctly. He planned to go with a girl, but I ended up going instead. It was my first live concert, and for a fan of Coldplay, it was a truly unforgettable experience. The band's performance started at 8:30 PM and lasted until 10:00 PM, with a six-hour wait for the 90-minute set.
Standing Through the HeatThe yellow zone tickets I had were close to the stage. While waiting for the show to begin, the temperature was a challenge, with people standing in the blazing sun. Furthermore, expensive food and drinks were the norm, but for those in the middle class, these were a significant expense.
Concert Experience Unveiled
The band's arrival elevated the energy level of the crowd to an infinite level. Everyone was screaming and clicking pictures. Despite the density of people, all we could see were smartphones and raised hands. However, the live experience is incomparable to listening to a song in isolation. For the first few minutes, your eyes do not believe that it is actually happening. Then, you start to fully enjoy the concert, and your heart feels filled just by being a part of such an incredible event.
The lighting, fireworks, and balloons added to the visual allure, making the concert worth watching beyond just listening. The best part for me was seeing the band, including Chris Martin and Chris Martin (as mentioned in the text), together on stage.
Unusual Attendance
Someone who had free tickets didn't attend due to JEE preparations. Their brother watched the concert on TV, which was an awesome experience. The Fix You guitar solo and the last part with the Up Up ending were particularly special moments.
In conclusion, the Coldplay concert in Mumbai was worth every minute, and the experience was unforgettable. Even a telecast can sometimes provide a sense of being part of the event, despite the phone distractions and the long wait.
